DANIELI-Il Forno delle Puglie was born in 2003 and found its roots in Bitonto, the city of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, located in the North of Bari, typical and renowned village in the heart of Puglia. The main product of this successful bakery is the Tarallo, which the company is made famous for: traditional or flavoured in different shapes. The Tarallo DANIELI is still made by hand, using ancient and secretly guarded recipes. “Quality at all cost” this was and still is the philosophy of the bakery; only the best ingredients are selected to produce the Tarallo DANIELI: a tasteful and crunchy snack for any moment of the day.
The Traditional Taralli was awarded 1 star at the Great Taste Awards 2016.
The Taralli are availible in a variety of flavours; Taralli with Onion, Taralli with Fennel, Taralli with Chilli, Taralli with Black Pepper and Taralli Pizza flavoured.
Other Catagories of products are Friabili, Croccanti and Bruschette.
Bitonto is in the Province of Bari,Puglia. It is nicknamed the "City of the Olives" due to the many Olive Groves surrounding the city. Bitonto's Roman Catholic Cathedral is the largest Cathedral in Puglia and is dated from the 1100s. Bari has many delicious local cheeses, the most famous being Burrata, which is made from mozzarella and cream.
