Who are we?

Founded in 1993, Districts of Italy began with our founder Marcello Fiorita because of his Interest and love for regional specialties throughout Italy. Inspired by Pelligrino Artusi (regarded as the inventor of Italian cuisine), Marcello developed an appreciation for Italy’s diverse cuisine. With his
passion, Districts of Italy was formed to represent top Italian producers across the UK. Fast forward to 2024 and Districts of Italy now has connections to Retail, Wholesale, Restaurants, Private Catering, and Deli’s across the UK and Ireland, and is under 2nd generation ownership with Matthias Fiorita. Districts of Italy continues to make new connections whilst maintaining existing relationships.
